HELP WANTED
Has a member of the YLISSB been especially helpful to you? Has someone gone out of their way to make you feel welcome on the System? If so, now is your chance to nominate them for one of the prestigious YLISSB Awards, either the Ambassador Corps, or the Ambassador Extraordinaire. This select group is an elite group of members that exhibit the attributes of our Credo, “We believe in the Dignity of Man.” You can nominate as many as you would like for the Corps, but only one for the Extraordinaire position. September is our Autumn Eagle Award. Contact 25 members with a membership number ending with a number 6 or 8 to qualify for this beautiful award.
EMERITUS COUNCIL
It is that time of year once again to put on your thinking cap, and nominate members to serve on the Emeritus Council. The Council has input into any issue that comes before the Board of Directors. The one criterion is that this honor is to recognize someone who has given a lot to the YL System, but is now retired from active service. This could be a past president or vice president, secretary, or treasurer, or a holder of the Rigel Trophy, TFO holder or someone that has rendered outstanding service as a System Control.
