This Solar Storm Forecast is sponsored in part by 3ric Johanson: http://instagram.com/scubist
Some fast solar wind is hitting Earth now along with a stealthy solar storm that launched a few days ago. Together these impacts have brought us up to G2-level solar storm conditions, and this could continue over the next few days. Unfortunately, this is the same time Hurricane Dorian is expected to make landfall! This means emergency radio responders to hurricane victims will likely need to contend with communications disruptions on the emergency HF channels now through this upcoming Tuesday. At least aurora photographers should get some decent aurora show! Learn more details about this solar storm and what else our Sun has in store.
